Film industry veterans Sascha Drews and Uwe Feuersenger, co-founders of VisionChaos, with credits including the acclaimed films “Hold The Dark” (Netflix) and ” Joe Bell” (starring Mark Wahlberg), are proud to announce their latest venture: Symby.
Building on their commitment to meaningful storytelling that began in cinema, they have formed a new venture to develop a “Context AI” – Symby will be an AI-powered platform for news and knowledge that emphasizes neutrality and depth, and is focused on helping users uncover context.
Symby aims to address the growing information divide by helping users discover the essential background and perspectives often missing from today’s information landscape. Just as their previous work sought to deliver films that are both thoughtful and accessible, Symby will offer a powerful alternative by providing users with the tools to see through multiple lenses and understand the fuller picture behind complex issues.
Currently available in early beta, the site includes a neutral news feed with balanced coverage across the ideological spectrum, a knowledge search engine that aims to reduce the noise and improve discovery of authentic information, and a podcast player for news and knowledge “on-the-go” that is playable directly on the site.
